The Sexy 2-Wheeled Waiter
In the recently concluded Fooma Japan 2009 (International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition), one exhibitor presented an elegantly-styled table that ran on 2 wheels.
Wheeled robots are found to be faster than their walking counterparts. Aside from aesthetics, the reason why the inventor chose two wheels was because it could turn sharper curves by simply locking one wheel to serve as the pivot and letting the other one continue turning.
